I'm not sure where this plant came from...I think a bird pooped out a seed or two.

That is a nice surprise! I wanted to plant some sunflowers along the edge of our "forest" in the back yard, but forgot to throw the seeds out there. The birds probably would have eated them before they sprouted anyway.
