178/365

This weekend we started a new summer adventure project sightseeing around Minnesota. I've lived here for 41 years but I haven't really seen any of the "sights" around the state so we headed to Darwin, MN which is about 1 3/4 hours northwest of Woodbury. This little city is famous because it houses the World's Largest Twine Ball created by one man. It weighs 17,400 pounds and has a 40 foot circumference. If you look closely you can see it through the glass.

  1. Are you guys in a reflection or is the twine somewhat transparent?

  2. The twine is kept away from the public in a glass-window gazebo so we're being reflected in the glass...the twine ball is behind the glass, can you see it?

  3. Yeah, I can see the twine. It's kinda cool how you all are in the picture with the twine. Did you know that was going to happen?
